Our Story
A Ray of Hope Since 1986
Umfolozi High School was established in 1986 in the heart of Kwamsane Township, Mtubatuba, KwaZulu-Natal. From humble beginnings, we have grown into a proud institution serving over 1,200 learners from Grades 8 to 12.
Our motto — "Ray of Hope" — captures the spirit of our school. We believe that every learner who walks through our gates carries within them the potential to illuminate their community and their country.
Over the past three years, our learners have consistently achieved above 80% in the National Senior Certificate examinations, and we are working together — educators, learners, and parents — towards a 100% pass rate by 2026.
